I worked with Al at the Menands Price Chopper and became friends with him when he asked to join our "Birthday Club" with Jimmy T. , my wife, and I. He would sometimes bring his grandson Charlie with him and we always had a good time whether it was going to a Patroons basketball game, NY Giants practice, bingo or out to eat at a Chinese buffet. Rest in Peace my friend. We will truly miss you.

I meet AL at Delaware Ave Price Chopper he came as the Assistant Manager of the Meat Dept, The dept at first had trouble as most all people do when someone new of authority comes in but things were back to normal not long after Al let us be ourselves , I myself enjoyed the short time i worked with him, and i hope he did as well i think he did, He gave me a certificate for helping get more members to join in the VFW that i will always remember ,When ever i thought of AL i smile because he might not have got along with everyone but i guess i was just lucky , he was a great co worker to me, thanks for your service and thanks for your freindship
