Brian Schneider

Troy-Brian Jeffrey Schneider, 26 passed away on May 10, 2021 peacefully at his home.

Born in Albany and raised in Troy, he was the son to John “Jay” Schneider and Kathleen Nash Schneider.

Brian graduated from LaSalle Institute, the Canterbury Prep School and attended UMass in Boston.

His mischievous grin was always followed by an infectious smile. While we will never know where his path would have lead he would have traveled it with a gift of laughter, an aim to please and a good soul.  Most importantly his loyalty was unquestioned, he would never leave a man behind.

Brian is survived by his parents Jay and Kathy, his brothers Corey and John (Amanda), his nieces Callie and Chloe, his grandmothers Kathleen Gilbert and Jane Collins, Brian is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was predeceased by his uncle Jeffy Schneider and grandfather Paul Schneider.

Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Monday May 17, 2021 at the St. Augustine’s Church 25 115th Street, Troy. (Live stream funeral mass on you tube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1TEmqcnVzLfW6VgzZUDQ7g

Burial will be private at St. John’s Cemetery, Troy.

There will be no public calling hours.

Please note that masks, social distancing and occupancy limitations in the church are required.

Jay and family Im so sorry to hear of the passing of Brian. Prayers are with you and your family. I know what you are going through because God just took my Dad home just this past Sunday on Mothers Day. He was put to rest on this Wednesday and his first heavenly birthday was the next day. He would of been 82.

Lollie and Jay, and the family of Brian,Although I cannot be there to hug you and tell you how sorry I am about the loss of Brian, please know that my heart breaks for you and that my prayers will include you all.
