to my wonderful niece not one day went by since you came into my life that you didn't make me feel like part of the family no matter what the circumstances were..i will always love you for that but also all the laughing we did and all the dining room sets you went thru ..sitting at the dining room table either at your house or sis house with us together and laughing about foolish things..the times the family all got together was the best times..i will miss you but I know you are where you want to be with your mom...love you now and always

For all the times I never said it, thank you. For all the times I never told you, I love you. I would give anything for one more day, to hear you yell at me once again, to walk in the front door and see you in your chair and tell you about how good or bad my day was, to watch another lifetime movie, to tell you goodnight and to hear you say it back.. your rocking chair is always physically empty but everytime I sit in it I know it's full with your spirit and your love. I leave the TV on for you every night and still say goodnight when walking upstairs to my room. I asked for a sign yesterday that you were okay and safe up in heaven and the rain stopped the sky cleared and out came a double rainbow and in that moment I knew you were okay and happy up in heaven. You always told me rainbows represented peace and now I know you're at peace and I think there was a double rainbow because gram is with you and she too is at peace. My heart will never be whole, my smile will never be as bright and I will always live each day wishing you were still here but I know when the time is right I will be with you again. I miss you so much it hurts but when stepping back I see you weren't living here on earth you were dying so you could live in heaven. You left your temporary home and returned to your real house where you are no longer in pain, free from all of your "traps" as you called them and with your mom and everyone else who left before you and there is nothing more I would ever want for you because I know you're the happiest you've been in a very long time. Rest easy my beautiful angel. I love you forever and know that you will always be with me because even though you're gone you will never leave, I'm you're baby and I'll always need you. I love you momma to the moon and back!
