Jeff Gillihan Sr., born July 29, 1956 died June 14, 2021 and was 64 years young, Jeff was born in California but loved to live his life in New York, Jeff was loved by all who met him, he was a man of many words he loved to make every person he came across laugh and that he did!! Jeff worked as a maintenance supervisor at B’nai B’rith apartments for 14 years before retiring in 2006! He was a jack of all trade’s and a master of being there for anyone who needed him at any time!! Jeff’s passions in life were fishing, going to the casino, Fishing, family poker nights, game nights, fishing, camping, fishing, cooking, western movies and did I mention fishing!!! He loved Mexican food and spending time with his family, his canine companion was little bit and she was his truest best friend, Ronny Ann Cory was also his best friend of over 20 years, he loved her dearly! Jeff is survived by his better half Michelle Gillihan, loving children Jeffrey A. Gillihan II of Troy, Julie Le Que (Donald) of Cohoes, Jeremy Gillihan (Carol) of Green Island, and Nicole Rosario (Jesse) of Troy, siblings Jim Gillihan, Jane Gillihan and Jan Gillihan. Also survived by his eight beloved grandchildren Makayla Blair, Teytiannah Gillihan, Velydiah Gillihan, Cora Gillihan, Jeremy Gillihan Jr., Ethan Gillihan, Branden Le Que, Tyler Le Que and two greatgrandchildren Javion and Julian Moore. Jeff is predeceased by his parents James W. Gillihan and Frances Dean Gillihan, brothers Jack and John Gillihan and sisters Judy and Jolene Gillihan. Family and friends are invited and may call on Friday June 18, 2021 from 5-7 pm at the McLoughlin and Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and 3rd Avenue, Lansingburgh. Jeff would always conclude every family event with is favorite song “There’s a Frog on a Log at the Botton of the Sea”.

My deepest condolences to Julie jack and Jeremy Your dad was such a great person. He was a amazing cook. He will be missed. My sister Ronnyann is taking this extremely hard. Jeff was her best friend and she will truly miss him. She never got to tell him she loved him.

My daddy was the absolute best man in the entire world! He carried the burdens of so many others so they didnt have to! This world is a much darker place without him here! Ill never recover from his loss!
