The Fredricks Family~I am so sorry for your loss! Kathy was a great companion to my mother, Marilyn, at Brookdale East. I always enjoyed her company....I used to call them dumb and dumber and they would laugh and dance, they were happy together. I hope your fond memories carry you through this difficult time!Fondly,Cindy Butler

I am so sorry for your family's loss. I worked with Kathy for many years at HVCC. She was always friendly, funny and fun to be with! I am very lucky to have known her. Although I retired from the Math and Engineering Dept in 2010, I remember her well. You are in my thoughts at this sad time.

Kathy, was the beloved Mother of the GM and Chrysler programs at HVCC. She was the rock that held those programs together. I had the great fortune to teach in those programs for many years; seeing firsthand everything she did for all our students. Not to mention she was one of the nicest people you could ever meet.

Dear Fredricks and Lagitch Families, We are absolutely heartbroken by the loss of our dear friend Kathy. It's hard to put into words how caring, generous and kind she truly was. Whether taking care of her family or helping her students out whenever they asked, she was always there for anyone who needed her. She always put others first. A caretaker by nature, she made sure her family and friends were comfortable and safe. We will miss her holiday get togethers and seeing the happiness she got from giving someone the "perfect" Christmas gift. Her happiest moments were when she talked about her kids and grandkids. There has never been a prouder Mother and Grammy. She loved you all so much and we know how much you loved her too. Rest peacefully my cherished friend, surrounded by those who loved you and went before. You will be missed more than you could ever know.
