Lisa Blais

Lisa M. Blais, 55, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at Samaritan Hospital.


Lisa graduated from Lansinburgh High School and received an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Hudson Valley Community College. She worked in nursing for 19 years, she worked at St. Mary's Hospital and for the last 5 years she worked at Heritage House Nursing Center.


Survivors include her beloved husband, Robert Blais of Troy, her loving daughters, Tarah (Richard) Lenyk of Troy Kate (Brandon) Mace of Petersburgh and Meghan Blais of Troy, her cherished grandchildren, Hannah Mace, Madison Lenyk, Jack Mace and Logan Lenyk, her siblings, Gary Lennox of Troy, Dennis (Loretta Sunukjian) Peterson of Troy and Deb (Richard) Jones of Williamstown, Ma., her aunts, Rose Campbell and Joan Campbell, her uncle, William Campbell, her nephew, Gary (Katie) Lennox, Jr., also survived by a large family and many friends.


Lisa was predeceased by her mother Veronica Goodwin.


A memorial service will be held 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the funeral home.


Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh.

Memorial donations may be made in Lisa Blais memory to American Heart Association

Our hearts are broken and we are filled with sadness with the passing of our dear cousin Lisa. We always had a great time whenever we were together. Family gatherings will never be the same without you. We love and miss you so very much.

I am sorry for your loss..I knew Lisa when I worked at ST. Mary's on ortho. She was always a fun person to work with smiling and making others smile. May God give your family strength and courage.
