She loved a good crossword puzzle, listening to Billy Graham and watching old movies, remembering old times with great family get together. Yes mom was a great mom and caregiver. I can hear her saying in later times at last I will be with my beloved husband and see old family and friends that have gone before me. I can hear your dad saying what took you so long to get here.  Funeral will be for immediate family only at McLoughlin & Mason Funeral, followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Wynantskill. Dear Nieces, Nephews, family and Friends, Our prayers are with you as you celebrate Maxine's life and mourn her departure. Knowing Maxine's heart she is with Moe and the Lord as she has desired for so long. Maxine and Moe were very special to us and we mourn our loss and their gain! We are thankful that it will not be too long before we too are reunited with our precious family in the Lord's presence. We pray that each one of you will know the comfort and peace of the Lord as you wrestle with Maxine's home-going. As you know Sharon and I are now living in an assisted living facility and are unable to travel. That does not keep our hearts and our love from being present with you at this time. We love each one of you and pray that you may sense our holy comforter's presence with you.Hugs in Christ and our love, uncle Don and aunt Sharon

Momma, you were not just a mother in law to me, you were like a second mom and a friend. I'm glad that you got to live with us and form a bond. You were such a selfless woman, always worrying about others and thinking of ways to help. I'm happy that you are at peace now, no more suffering and you were eager to be with your husband and family again that passed before... but most of all you were ready to rest in the arms of Jesus. Even when you were very sick in the hospital, you were worried about whether the nurse had ate.. after she asked you if you were hungry...you replied "Did you eat?"...that was your nature. You took care of so many people and animals in your life, it is now your turn to be taken care of by Jesus. Your turn to rest and relax. You were a faithful servant to God and you kept His Word in your heart. Thank you for being the beautiful soul that you were. You left a smile on everyone's face who knew you and met you. I blow a kiss to you, I love you Momma.
