Richard and I were from the same neighborhood and went to Haskell, Knickerbocker Jr. High and graduated Lansingburgh High School together in 1970.After that Idid not see Richard until our 40th class reunion in 2010 and become facebook pals. It was great reconnecting with him after all these years and watching his excitement when his retirement clock counted down to that special moment he waited so long for. I am only sorry that he had such a short time to enjoy it but it sounds to me that he lived every moment of his short lifeto the fullest and made great friends along the way. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends. R.I.P. Richard.
