Shirley V. Warner, 75 passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Shirley was born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of Joseph Fernet and Marie LaRose Fernet.

She retired as a cafeteria worker from Norton Company in Watervliet. Shirley enjoyed doing puzzles, games, and having a beer, she especially loved her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving children Victoria (late Terry) Fleury, Harold Warner, Dawn Warner, Mary (Paul) Melber, Robert Warner and John (Shelby Beagle) Warner, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her brother William (Ella) Fernet, her sister JoAnn (Charles) Ellison and several nieces and nephews.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents, brothers Joseph Fernet, Floyd (Red) Fernet, Henry Fernet and sister Theresa Just.

Family and friends are invited and may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh. (Please dress casual). Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, June 2, 2016 at funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford.

Contributions in memory of Shirley may be made to the American Lung Association.

To my grammy a d my children's "great" u were the most amazing woman with a huge sense of love and laughter. I'm still in awe that you are no longer here with us in the present but will forever remain in the heart of me and my children. They loved their great to the moon and back. I love you forever and ever were our last words we said to each other and I'll never ever forget. I love you grammy forever and ever.
