The daughter of Alexander and Ruth (Mosher) Korotsky, Stephanie was born and raised in Troy, graduating from Lansingburgh High School in 1971.  She was married to her beloved husband Benjamin for almost 49 years. Stephanie worked for many years in the Scheduling Department at Mohawk Paper Mills and as veterinary assistant at Troy Veterinary Hospital before retiring to become a homemaker, volunteer at Faith Lutheran Church in Troy, and to travel New England and Florida.

Stephanie loved being a grandmother, the outdoors, going for walks on the beach, watching her bird feeders, and motorcycling with Ben.

Stephanie is pre-deceased by her parents, her sister Eileen Hering and brother W. Kent Lake.

She is survived by her husband Benjamin Wagar, son Adam Wagar, and daughter Jennifer (Sean) Cope, and grandchildren Aaron Wagar, Zachary, Micaela, and Meredith Cope; as well as her sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no services at this time. Family and friends will be invited to attend a memorial service that will be held at a future date and time.
