Terrance Conway

Troy-Terrance M. Conway, 64 passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday April 9, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital. Born on May 13, 1953, he was the son of the late Robert Conway Sr. and Eleanor Keenan Conway.

Terrance graduated from Lansingburgh High School, class of 1972, and attended Hudson Valley Community College. He worked for Troy Housing Authority for 25 years, retiring in 2007.

Terrance was an avid New York Mets and Jets fan and enjoyed playing his numbers but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.  His great sense of humor and his caring nature brought joy to all that were blessed to know him and his strength was inspiring as he never gave up hope as he fought to overcome many obstacles…always with a smile on his face.  He left all who were part of his life with fond memories and many laughs.  He will be dearly missed but his spirit will live on through the many gifts that he passed on to his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Nadine Lagace Conway, his children Christopher (Christine) Conway of Clifton Park and Joan (Chad) Thomas of Troy, his grandchildren Jack Patrick, Finn Christopher and Grayson Jeffrey Conway, Keeghan Francis, Callie Paige and Cade Terrance Thomas, his siblings Robert (Linda) Conway Jr, Gerald (Maureen) Conway, Judith A. Kilgallon, his uncle Paul F. Conway, also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Daniel Conway.

Funeral Mass 9:00 am on Saturday April 14, 2018 at St. Augustine’s Church, Troy. Burial will be private.

Calling Hours will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh.
