Bernice McGraw

Bernice "Rue" Haeru Bostic Mc Graw, 87, formerly of Jacksonville, NC passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014, after a long illness while residing at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center, visited always by her loving family, friends and Beechwood Retirement Community with cards, thoughts and prayers.
Rue was born on December 14, 1926 in Beulaville, Duplin County, North Carolina; she was the daughter of the late Rushin B. Bostic and Lucretia Mobley Bostic.
Bernice "Rue" was a graduate of Duplin County, Beulaville High School; she worked and retired from the State of North Carolina. She was an avid gardener, an active member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary; she enjoyed her church, choral activities and her many friends in the military community.
Rue is survived by her loving husband, John, J. Mc Graw of Troy, her sisters, Joyce H. Thomas of Beulaville, NC, Jewel Dean Thomasson of Hampstead, NC, her brother Rivers J. Bostic of Shrewbury, Pa. She was predeceased by her first husband David Earl Taylor, he died in 1986.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
