Charlotte D. Tomlin, 56 entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Albany medical Center surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Leamon Grady and Viola Elizabeth Irvin, and loving wife to Laurel Tomlin.
Charlotte was raised and educated in Albany, she worked as a multiple care patient technician at St. Peter's Hospital.
She leaves to mourn her husband; Laurel, her children; Nyisha Dozier of Albany, LaMar Ellis of California, Lakie Grady of Troy, Laurell Tomlin of Albany, her grandchildren; Shamara Ellis, Kendra Peebles, Lah'Quann Grady, Lah'Keet Grady, Ny'Jua Grady, Ny'Leeah Grady, Jada Marie Tomlin, Princess-Ny'Ceeah Rae Williams and one unborn grandchild, her sister; Sheila Irvin, her brothers; Leamon Grady, Jr., Michael Grady, Troy Grady and Tracey Grady, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Charlotte was predeceased by two sisters; Rhonda Irvin and Brenda Irvin, one brother; Willie Lee Grady.
Family and friends are invited to share in her home-going celebration at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3 Morton Avenue, Albany.
Calling hours will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday prior to the service at church
Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
