Cheryl Turner Bourgault, 69, left this world but not our hearts on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Troy on April 7, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Turner and Elinor McLoughlin Turner and loving and dedicated wife of the late Leo Bourgault.
Raised and educated in Troy, she was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, class of 1965. She was a homemaker who always put the needs of others above her own. Cheryl loved planting flowers, the New York Yankees, playing bingo and watching her children’s sporting events. Most of all, she was devoted to her family, and they were a source of deep joy to her.
She was devoted mother of Brian Bourgault, April (Michael) Galipeau, all of Brunswick, Steven (Rebecca Bourgault) of Averill Park, Michelle (Thomas) Ring of Pittstown, Kyle Bourgault of Brunswick, Kurt Bourgault of Poestenkill, proud grandmother of twelve, Sam and Cassidy Galipeau, Nate, Harry and Mallory Bourgault, Liam and Alexander Ring, Sarah, Luke and Charlotte Bourgault, Brooke and Brealynn Bourgault. Protected and loved by her two dogs, Finn and Sara.
The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to her caregiver and friend of over twenty years, Marilynn Roarke for her love and devotion; along with her caregiver Jenna Sheldrick.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street, and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh.
Burial will follow at Eagle Mills Cemetery, Brunswick.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
