Christian Johansen

Watervliet-Christian G. Johansen, 81 passed away on March 26, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Troy, he was the son of Albert Johansen and Camilla Rasmussen Johansen.

Christian was an automotive clerk for many years.

He is survived by his children Thomas Johansen of Watervliet, Keith (Ruth Scrum) Johansen of Watervliet, Kevin (Regina) Johansen of Greenville and David (Linda) Johansen of Wilton, his step children Tammy (Kevin) Carney and Gerald Stone, Jr., his grandchildren Kasey, twins Michael and Matthew, Kylie, Tyler, Brian, Rachel, Kearstin, Michael, Corey, David, Christina and Elizabeth, his sister Lois (late Gus) Kilburn, also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Christian was predeceased by his wife Sandra Johansen, his siblings Warren Johansen, Gene Johansen, Ruth Quackenbush, Karen Dromms, Eric Johansen and grandson Michael.

Graveside service 11:00 am Saturday March 30, 2019 at Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. Family and friends will gather at McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh at 10:00 am.
