Coleen Mantello

Coleen Connelly Mantello, 52, of Wynantskill Way entered into rest on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Samaritan Hospital after losing her battle with a lung disease.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Connelly and O. Joyce Frerer Connelly and loving wife and friend of Craig Mantello of Troy for 27 years.

Raised and educated in Lansingburgh, she was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School, class of 1981. Coleen worked as a bookkeeper with Argus Architecture in Troy and previously with the former Garden Way in Troy. Coleen will be remembered as a thoughtful, compassionate and generous woman who treasured her family. She had an understanding heart, ready smile and humor and a genuine loving concern for all her friends.

Survivors in addition to her loving husband, Craig, include her son Jordan Anthony Mantello and her daughter Samantha Claire Mantello, her father in law Anthony Mantello and mother in law Antoinette Byra Mantello of Troy.

Coleen was predeceased by her brother Gary G. Murphy.

Special thank you to Rebecca of CDPHP, Dee Brown from home nursing, the 6th floor nursing staff at Samaritan Hospital, Community Hospice, friends at the Department of Labor, and friends and neighbors for all their care and support.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at St. Michael's Church, 175 Williams Road, Troy.

Cremation will take place at the Gardner Earl Crematorium.

Inurnment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
