David T. Gallagher

Troy-David T. Gallagher, 76 passed away on Sunday September 25, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Born and raised in Troy, he was the son to the late Norbert Gallagher and Helen Wood Gallagher.

David graduated from Troy High School, class of 1964, he attended Hudson Valley Community College. David worked for many years in the financial banking industry, he also was a well-known musician, playing the guitar for the band Blue Light Special and several other local bands.

He is survived by his daughter Laura Gallagher and his brother Bryan Gallagher.

In addition to his mother and father, he was predeceased by his five sisters and two brothers.

Family and friends are invited and may call from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday September 29, 2022 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home corner of 109^th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm on Thursday at funeral home with Deacon Chuck Wojton officiating. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, Va. 22116 in memory of David.
