Denison Clute

Denison P. Clute,Sr 71, died early Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Diamond Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Troy, NY. He leaves his wife of 28 years, Carolyn (Barbour) Clute; 5 sisters, Cindy, Dorey, Judy, Kathy & Sharon; 2 brothers, Lewis & Anthony ( both deceased); 5 children, Keith ( Sharon), Denison Jr (Kim), Terri (Steve), Shane (Sharla) and Mark (Roxann) ; 11 grandchildren, numerous cousins and many close friends. Through a mutual friend, Denison and Carolyn meet and after a short engagement, they married in Menands and started their lives together. Denison worked as an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor at River Hill Apartments. Due to health issues, he had to retire but stayed active as a handyman for family members. A family picnic was always the highlight of the summer at Grafton State Park. Denison was a wonderful cook and enjoyed trying new recipes and shopping for new gadgets. He was also a member of The Church of Christ Church in Albany. Denny, as family called him, was a very giving and generous person and took excellent care of his wife.
