Dolores Finn

Dolores M. Finn, 88 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Van Rensselaer Manor.

Dolores was born in Troy on May 12, 1927 to the late Edward F. and Mary V. Rouke Fleming. She was a graduate of CCHS, class of 1945. Dolores was employed as a bookkeeper at Henry S. Mantell Furniture and later at Trojan Pools.

She was married to Robert H. Finn for 57 years until his death in 2006. They were longtime parishioners of St. Patrick's Church in Troy. Dolores enjoyed attending events at Germania Hall where she was a member for many years. Playing bocce with the Norton Retirees was one of her favorite past times. Her family and friends were very special to her. She loved spending time on the phone with them and going on outings for lunch or shopping.

She is survived by her children, Christine Wagar of Troy, Susan Cardinuto (John) of Northumberland, Timothy Finn (Rhonda) of Troy, her grandchildren, Ryan Finn of Troy, Ann Finn of Saratoga Springs, Anthony, Erica and Sara Cardinuto of Northumberland and Haijia Wu of Florida, her daughter in law, Ling Ling of Florida, her special cousin Kathleen McQuide, also survived by several nieces and cousins.

In addition to her husband, Dolores was predeceased by her sons, Robert E. Finn and Michael J. Finn, her brother Edward "Bud" Fleming.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am on Friday, July 3, 2015 at St. Augustine's Church, Lansingburgh. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.

There will be no calling hours.

The family would like to thank the staff at Van Rennselaer Manor and Unit A-3 for their care of Dolores during her stay.
