Doris Paglia St. Jock Mayville, 68 passed away on Friday October 27, 2017 at the Diamond Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Troy she was the daughter of Doris DeFreest Paglia and the late Christy C. Paglia Jr. Doris attended St. Peter’s Elementary School and graduated from Troy High School. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan, enjoyed going to the Racino, dancing with her best friend Cathy, and most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother Doris Paglia of Troy, her siblings John (LeeAnn Sherman) Paglia, Karen (Guy Stoliker) Paglia and Patricia (Mack Berkley) Paglia Berkley all of Troy, her son Ronnie (Debbie) St. Jock of Michigan, her grandchildren Ronald St. Jock III and Alexander St. Jock, Gabriel St. Jock, Jeremy Mayville, Amanda Herrington, her six great grandchildren, her niece Dana (Tim) Parker and nephew Christopher (Dana) Paglia and many more nieces and nephews, her companion and aunt Ruth Shaw.
Predeceased by her father Christy C. Paglia Jr, and brother Christy C. Paglia III
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Diamond Hill and Community Hospice for their compassionate care given to Doris.
Family and friends are invited and may call on Thursday November 2, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh. Funeral service 11:00 am on Friday November 3, 2017 at funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. Memorial donation may be Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. www.mohawkhumane.org.
