Edward J. Landy, Jr

Clifton Park- Edward J. Landy, Jr., 87 passed away on Friday April 21, 2023 at Evergreen Commons.

Born in North Adams, Mass., he was the son to the late Edward J. Landy Sr. and Dorothy Wilson Landy.

Edward served in the United States Army, he was a Boiler Engineer for Risen Corp, Colt Firearms and he retired from Amherst State College in Massachusetts.

He is survived by his wife Norma Granger Landy, his children Pamela (Ralph) Legan, Robin (John) Riggs, Edward (Deb) Landy III, Joseph (Carole) Landy, Jill (the late Lowell) Walton and Florence Horan, his grandchildren, Kyle (Stephanie) Legan, Emily Legan, Allison (Joshua) Dietzman, Nicholas Riggs, Frank Crispell, Matthew (Amanda) Landy, Joseph (Amy) Landy, Victoria Landy, Ann Marie Walton, Michael (Gretchen) Walton, Justin Walton, Sarah Walton, Jeffrey (Andrea) Landy and Ethan Landy, his 20 great grandchildren, his sister Shirley (the late Guy) Franco, his brother James (the late Sandra) Landy.

In addition to his mother and father, Edward was predeceased by two grandchildren John Riggs, Jr and Daniel Riggs and one great grandson.

Family and friends are invited from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on Friday April 28, 2023 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109^th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh, with funeral service at 12:30pm. Burial with military honors will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga Cemetery.
