Edwin Taylor

Troy-Edwin C. Taylor, 90, passed away on January 24, 2018 at his home. Born in Londonderry, Vermont, he was the son of Leslie and Charlotte Taylor. Edwin served in the United States Army, serving in the south pacific area with the Army 20 Air Core. He received the Good Conduct Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Medal, the Asiatic Occupation Metal on Okinawa 1945/1946 and the World War II Victory Metal.

Edwin was an Optician for 30 years and owned and operated the Nortgeastern Optical Lab. He is survived by his son Scott (Karla) Taylor of Troy, his granddaughter Melissa (Domenico Jr) LoGrippo of East Schodack, his great grandsons Domenico LoGrippo III and Lorenzo LoGrippo of East Schodack, his former wife Marilynn Hood-Taylor of East greenbush, his brother Robert Taylor of California. Edwin was predeceased by his son Glenn Taylor, his brother William Taylor and sister Betty Anderson. Funeral services will be private. Please visit www.mcloughlinmason.com.
