Eleanor Mary Bonesteel

Watervliet-Eleanor Mary Bonesteel, 90 passed away on April 3, 2023 at the Eddy Heritage House.

Born in Watervliet, she was the daughter to the late Joseph L. Diamond and Eleanor Rose Fearey Diamond.

Eleanor graduated from Albany Business College, she owned and operated K& J Aquarium and she was also a supervisor for New York State Library for the blind.

Eleanor is survived by her children Kathleen Bonesteel of Troy, John “Jack” Bonesteel (Janet Foley VanAuken) of Petersburg, Thomas Bonesteel (Colleen Caulfield) of Troy, her granddaughter Christine E. Agnew (Joseph), and her great grandchild Wade Emmett Agnew.

In addition to her mother and father, Eleanor was predeceased by her brother Edward “Ted” Diamond.

Family and friends are invited and may call at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109^th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh on Thursday April 6, 2023 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am with Deacon Robert Pasquarelli officiating. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Troy.
