Gary F. Vogt, 56 of Route 40, passed away on September 24, 2017 at Albany Medical Center with his family by his side.
Born in Troy, he was the son of Ann Cassino Vogt of Waterford and the late Robert F. Vogt who died in 2004 and beloved husband of Kathleen Masterson Canfield-Vogt of Troy.
Raised and educated in Lansingburgh, he was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School. Gary worked for G.E.R & D Center in Niskayuna as an Equipment Purchaser. He previously worked for Bay State Floral Supply (Nyren Bros) in Clifton Park. Gary was a loyal Dallas Cowboy Fan and enjoyed playing Quick Draw.
Survivors in addition to his mother Ann and wife Kathleen include his children Matthew Vogt, Brianna Vogt, Patrick (Chris), Kari Canfield, Ryan Vogt, Jolie Canfield, all of Troy, two grandchildren Karter and Emma and a new arrival in March, 2018, two brothers Robert A. Vogt of Troy, Timothy P. Vogt (Lisa) of Clifton Park, his sister Patricia A. Tallman (Dave) of Slingerlands and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 12:00 PM. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the All Troy Athletic Club, 538 Second Avenue, Lansingburgh.
Arrangements by the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh.
