George Hudson

George K. Hudson passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 2, 2014.

Born in Troy he was the son of the late Robert Hudson and Laurel (Houseworth) Hudson.

George was a devoted father, an active member of The Salvation Army of Troy; he was friends with everyone and had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his daughter, Hope Hudson of Troy, his siblings, Ruth Yule of Cohoes, Robert Hudson of Cohoes, James Hudson of Troy, Ted Hudson of Cohoes, David Hudson of Troy, Christopher Hudson of Gloversville, Miranda Hudson of Watervliet, also survived by dozens of nieces and nephews, especially his nephew Little Chris.

A celebration of his life will be held 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2014 at The Salvation Army of Troy, 410 River Street, Troy, New York 12180. Cremation was at Gardner Earl Crematory, Troy.
