George Richard Maxfield Sr., 82, of Guideboard Road, Halfmoon died Sunday, August 12, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late George E Maxfield and Maude A. Landfear and beloved husband of the late Carol J. (MacNaughton) Maxfield of Halfmoon who died in 2007. After retirement, George worked for the Town of Halfmoon Parks Department. George had a feisty spirit and a zest for life. He loved being with his family most of all. McCullough (Christopher) of East Berne; and two sons, George R.
