Harry Hull

Harry J. Hull, 88 passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015.

Born in Troy on July 15, 1927, he was the son of the late Harry J. Hull and Marjorie Lane Hull DeLair and was the loving husband to Cecelia Moore Hull, she died in 2010.

A lifelong Troy resident, he served proudly in the United States Navy during World War II; he owned and operated Hull & Son Oil and Hull & Son (Webb's) Tavern for many years.

Harry was a life member of Veterans of Lansingburgh, a life member of the All Troy Athletic Club where he was a bartender and he was a member of the Eagle's Club in Lansingburgh.

Harry is survived by his children Harry "Butch" (Katharyn) Hull Jr, of Troy, Joyce (William) Nealand of Troy, Kathleen (Jay) Johnson of South Carolina and Margaret (Patrick Harrington) Martell of Troy, his grandchildren Harry "Butchie" (Martina McSweeney) Hull, Keith Hull, John " Joey" (Chelsea) Johnson and Matthew (Kylie Mussat) Johnson, his great grandchildren Kaylie Hull, Collin Hull, Dalton Hull, Rylan Hull and Isabelle Johnson, his sisters Viola Karichkowsky, Joan Quick, Marjorie Darrow and Patricia Bulson, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Troy.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the funeral home.

Donations in memory of Harry may be made to The Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club, 501 Fourth Avenue, Troy, NY 12182.
