Helen Mason

Troy-Helen R. Mason, 94 passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Helen was born in Lansingburgh and lived in Pleasantdale, she was the daughter to the late Charles Bradt and Lena (Church) Bradt and the loving wife to the late John Mason, and he died in 1988.

She is survived by her children Raymond Bradt, Charles Seney, Jeannette Harding, Jay Mason, George Mason, Mary Munhall and Carol Mason, her twenty two grandchildren, her twenty great grandchildren, also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her husband John J. Mason, Helen was predeceased by her son Michael Mason and nine siblings.

Helen was a stay at home Mom and in her later years, she was a foster grandparent for thirty years with CEO. She was also an avid bingo player and she worked for the board of elections for over twenty years.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday December 17, 2019 at McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, December 16, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Funeral Home.
