James Filkins, Jr.

James "Jim" Henry Filkins Jr., 77 of Troy, New York, passed away April, 29, 2017. Jim was born in Troy, NY, he was the son of Lillian M. Filkins and James Henry Filkins Sr.

Jim was a graduate of Troy High School, and served in the Army. He worked for Hartford Insurance and Dulles Airport Authority.

Jim is survived by his daughter Terry M. Morris and grandson Donny Morris. His hobbies included, coin and stamp collecting,  car racing, and fishing. He loved spending time with family and friends.

His charities were St. Jude Children's Hospital, and the National Humane Society.
