Jerome Carignan

Jerome T. Carignan, age 67 of Troy, died unexpectedly Tuesday, February 1, 2017 at his home. He was born in Troy, N.Y., October 8, 1949, son of the late Joseph and Helen (Vourosky) Carignan. He graduated from Lansingburgh High School and was employed by Delaware & Hudson Rail Road for 30 years until his retirement in 2000. He loved hunting and fishing, or just being in the outdoors. He will be remembered by his family and close friends for his charismatic personality. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his two children, Jeremy Carignan and his wife, Tirzah, and Todd Carignan and his wife, Jessica, and his two grandchildren, Emelia and Griffin Carignan (and his beloved dog Cole). He is also survived by his brother, Dennis Carignan and his wife, Rose. He was predeceased by his wife Janice Carignan and brothers, Bob Carignan and Joe Carignan. A private service will be held for the family.
