Joyce M. St. Andrew Brundige, 71 passed away peacefully on Saturday August 19, 2017 under the care of Community Hospice after a long illness.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Vina St. Andrew. Joyce was a nursing assistant for the former Eden Park Nursing Home for several years.

She was a big Elvis Presley fan, but above all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, she will be missed by all those who loved and knew her even when she had a snide remark to you.

Joyce is survived by her beloved children Nora Dempsey, Daniel (Donna) Oliver, Lonnie Bolia, Toby Oliver, Jeanny (William) Jenkins, Billy Jo (Michael) LaVelle, her ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, she is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, her daughter Samantha, her grandson Daniel Jr, her brother Norman, her husband Doug, nephew Gino, her best friend Darlene Miles and her soulmate, who took care of “Ma” for several years, Warren Bolia, she was also predeceased by her canine companions “Peppy” and “Mama”.

Relatives and Friends are invited and may call on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh.

Funeral service will be Wednesday 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow St. Peter’s Cemetery.  Donations may be made to American Diabetes Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
