Joyce Keeley Brickhouse born on May 14, 1944. Daughter of Francis John (Bud) and Maude Anita (Joyce) Keeley – passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday afternoon.
A Troy resident most her life, though she left the area in 1987 and lived in Columbia, NC where she met her husband of 29 years, Buddy Boy Brickhouse. While residing in Columbia NC, she graduated from the Albemarle College, was a jailer for the Tyrrell County sheriff’s department and a tax accountant. Prior to living in North Carolina, she was a waitress for many years at local diners-mostly known at the Gateway diner of Albany.
Fortunately, Joyce moved back to Troy in September 2016 to spend quality time with her family on a daily basis.
