Watervliet-Kathleen Mary Gilbert, 81, Our loving mom has passed away on January 30, 2023. We all have a gentle peace now.
We dressed her all up in her pretty pink PJs, and white, fluffy blankets… cried all over her… kissed her all up and said we will see you again.
She was our core. From her came… tenderness, understanding, comfort, fairness, compassion, discipline, patience, steadiness, calm, but mostly love.
She will surely be missed by her children, Debbie Higgitt (David), Kathy “Lolly” Schneider (Jay), Jackie (Nash) Giamei (Albert), Mary (Nash) Falk (Bob), Michael Weber and David Grogan (Jolene). Loved by her 14 grandchildren, Jyllian Wiley (Joe), John Ryan (Mandy), Jacquelynn McGrath (Justin), Vinnie Consuelo, Dee Dee Higgitt (Stephanie), Ashley Ray (Richie), Brittany McGaughnea, Corey Schneider, Shelby Giamei (Nick), Bailey Czub (Mike), Anthony Giamei (Taylor), Lauren Grogan, Kennedy Weber (Dan) and Jacob Grogan. She was also loved by her 14 great grandchildren.
Kathy is preceded by her parents, John and Catherine Dundon, her Daughter Kristine Weber, and her grandson, Brian Jeffrey Schneider.
