Kathryn “Kay” Jensen, 98 died Tuesday March 7, 2017 at the Van Rensselaer Manor. Kay was the daughter of Samuel and Kathryn Sandholt and the loving wife of Clifford Jensen, who died in 1995.
She and Cliff were married 51 years and resided in Speigletown. Kay worked at the Oakland Army Base in California during World War II, and was later a homemaker and volunteered for the American Cancer Society.
Kay is survived by her daughter Kay Warmt, her grandchildren Michael (Erica) Warmt, Melissa (David) Ducharme and great grandchildren, Michael Jr., & Marielle Warmt and Mason & Owen Ducharme. She was predeceased by her husband Cliff, her infant daughter Carol Jensen, her great granddaughter, Faith Warmt, her infant brother JohnSandholt, her sisters Irma Campbell and Arlene Beckwith, her brother Dayton Sandholt.
The family wishes to thank the Staff of Unit A-3 at van Rensselaer Manor for their loving care and thoughtfulness.
Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with prayers to follow at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh.
