Waterford-Kenneth J. Pakatar, 51 passed away unexpectedly on August 12, 2022 at his home. Born in Troy, he was the son of John T. Pakatar, Jr and June French Pakatar. Kenneth was raised in Waterford, he graduated from Waterford Halfmoon High School, class of 1989, he attended SUNY Cobleskill. Ken was a union electrician for Local # 236 in Albany for 26 years.
He was an avid boater, he enjoyed bowling, the New York Yankees and the New York Giants, he loved boating on Saratoga Lake, he especially loved his family, Ken was a big fan of NY Yankees late catcher Thurman Munson.
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by sister Kristin (William) Palmer, his niece Madison Palmer, his nephew Matthew Palmer, also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends are invited to call from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday August 17, 2022 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh. The family is requesting people attending to wear NY Yankees or Giants gear or North Carolina blue is Ken’s memory. Memorial donations in memory of Kenneth may be made to a charity of your choice.
