Laurel A. Tomlin

Laurel Augustus Tomlin. he who goes by many names

KingRas, Seymour and Uncle T., And as the kids and his

Wife would call him. "Daddy"!

was born on October 10th 1947,

in Kingston, Jamaica. He was predeceased by his mother

Madeline Reid and father Moses Tomlin.

Born October 10th, 1947. Laurel arrived in Albany by way of

Newburgh as a seasonal farm worker. Laurel retired from

Yankee Trails of Rensselaer to be by the side of his wife as she

had a long battle with Reno Kidney Failure. Laurel was a

loving, devoted caring husband, and he was kind, caring gentleman!

Laurel enjoyed spending time playing bingo with his

wife during her life. Laurel enjoyed auto mechanics as one of his

hobbies. Laurel enjoyed every, moments he was able to spend

with his grandchildren and great grandchildren!

laurel was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte and predeceased

parents, Moses Tomlin and Madeline Reid, as well as

his brothers Lloyd (1971), Beryl (Toronto), Ceabird

and Cecile Tomlin.

Laurel is survived by his siblings

Gladstone Tomlin, laurel leaves behind his,

children Lamar, Nyisha, Laurell, and children of Jamaica

Karen, Charmane, and Kevin. His grandchildren Jada Marie,

Jade, Princess, Jace, Lakeet, Laquan, Nyjua, Nyleeah and his great grands!

He enjoyed hanging out with David-Dewayne and the guys

which will too forever miss him!
