Leon F. Ward

Athol / Cropseyville-Leon F. Ward, 81 died August 28, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Troy, he was the son to the late Raymond F. Ward and Anna LaBarron Ward, and the loving husband to Sylvia Bonesteel Ward.

Leon worked for Union College in Schenectady as the Campus Operations Keeper.

In addition to his wife Sylvia, he is survived by his sons Jayson (Chrissie Murray) Ward and Jeremy (Melissa Gardner) Ward, his grandchildren Layna, Makailyn, Kelton, Addison and Hazel Ward.

A celebration of his life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm at The Pittstown Rescue Squad, 60 Parker School Road Pittstown, NY 12094.
