Lucien Muller, 87, of Troy, passed away in the afternoon of January 27, 2015. In 1952, he left France and arrived in New York with many hopes and dreams in his heart and his wife Mary by his side. Lucien worked 42 years and retired from Albany International Company in Menands, NY. Although he worked full-time, he picked up various part time jobs such as a bus driver and a bakery delivery man. This helped Lucien to continue working towards his American dream and have his children college educated.
One of his hobbies became "Lou's Honey". He would spend hours working with his honey bees harvesting their honey. He would often be found at the local farmer's markets selling honey in addition to home grown vegetables and fresh cut flowers.
Survivors include his wife Mary in addition to his children Michael (Tanya) Muller of Loudonville, NY and his daughter Marianne Muller of Waterford, NY and his granddaughters Natalie and Valerie Muller of Phoenix, AZ. He is predeceased by his son John (Linda) Muller of Phoenix, AZ.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Diamond Hill Nursing Home, especially Grace, for the excellent care that was provided.
