Luigia Bizzarro

Luigia (Miele) Bizzarro, 86, passed away peacefully Monday August 4, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy surrounded by her loving family. Born and educated in the Providence of Avellino, Cervinara, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Luigia (Milanese) Miele. She came to Troy in 1949. Luigia was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and St. Anthony of Padua Church in Troy. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene A. Bizzarro; Loving mother of the late Saverio A. Bizzarro and Victoria "Bea" (Dan) Martuscello; Loving Grandmother of Deana (Michael) Karam, Daniel (Melissa) Martuscello, Eugene (Jessica) Bizzarro, Christopher (Sue) Martuscello, Catherine (Steve) Marra, Angela (BobbyJoe) Fosmire, Victoria "Tori" Martuscello, Nicholas Martuscello, Cherished Great Grandchildren, Dani Lyn, Christopher, Elizabeth and Anthony Martuscello, Jake Marra, Madison and Gianni Fosmire, Oliver and Gia Marra, Michael, Zachary and Noah Karam, Saverio, Allesandra, Gabriella and Julianna Bizzarro. She is survived by two brothers Frank (Mina) Miele and Andrew (Lynda) Miele both of Troy; Six sisters Mary (the late Pasquale) Ruggiero of Italy, Vincenza (Antonio) Carbonaro of North Greenbush, Lucia (the late Alfonso) Masi of Latham, Anna (Vittorio) Maietta of Troy, Yolonda (Jerry) Valenti of Green Island, Ida (Mario) Bucciero of Rexford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Anthony of Padua Church 28 State Street, Troy NY 12180. Friends may call at the Church on Wednesday from 8:00 to 10:30 am prior to the funeral mass. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Special thanks to Evergreen Commons Nursing Home
