Cohoes-Lynwood G. Nelson, 70 passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021. Lynwood was born and raised in Schenectady. He worked for St. Mary’s Hospital in the Environmental Services Department.

Lynwood is survived by his mother Catherine Nelson of Florida and his children Latanya Nelson of Troy and Lynwood Nelson, Jr., of Troy, his seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren his siblings Ronald Nelson, Anthony Nelson, Jennie Paulk, Albert Paulk, Shawn Nelson and Dwayne Adams, also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of family.

Lynwood was predeceased by his sister Teresa Nelson and his longtime companion Ernestine Hines.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Thursday February 11, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home 8 109th Street, Troy.

Services at 12 pm at funeral home for family only.

Burial Elmwood Hill Cemetery.
