Mary Salvati

Mary Catherine Salvati, 101, a lifelong Troy resident passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital.
She was born and raised in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo Daniele and Jennie Greco Daniele and was the loving wife to the late Samuel Salvati, and he died in 1977.
Mary Catherine enjoyed spending time with her family; she was a member of the Troy Seniors Citizen Club, enjoyed bowling at Uncle Sam Bowling and going to the casinos, on her 100th birthday day she received a legislative proclamation recognizing the milestone birthday during a party for her at the Eddy.
She is survived by her son, Anthony J. Salvati, Sr, (the late Mary Salvati) of Brunswick, her daughter, Rose M. Cronin of Lansingburgh, her daughter in law, Frances Salvati of Clifton Park, her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mary Catherine was predeceased by her mother, father, husband, her son, Vincent R. Salvati, her great grandson, Vincent, her siblings, Carmela Duval, Elizabeth Martin, John Daniele, Theresa Smith, Eleanor Nardi, Pasquale Daniele, Peter Daniele and Anthony Daniele.
Funeral mass will be celebrated 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at St. Augustine's Church, 25 115th Street, Lansingburgh. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
Calling hours will be held from 9:00 am to 11:30 am on Wednesday at McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh, prior to funeral mass.
