Nicole S. Bennett of Troy, NY, went home to be with the Lord on August 3,2021.
She was born on February 11, 1972 in Kingston, Jamaica. Nicola was first and foremost a strong-spirited, loving, gifted and generous woman that brought joy to everyone around her. Nicola loved her Lord Jesus with all her heart and soul which is why we believe God called her home at this time. “When He had perfected her, He took her.”
Nicola is survived by her parents, Mother, Vivienne Douglas, and Father Archie Bennett; her beloved Sisters, Lois Allwood and Nicole Bennett, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, a Nephew and Friends.
Nicola lived with passion and compassion, resilience and courage. She had an extensive network of friends locally and globally, from Troy, NY to Jamaica, Europe and beyond. Nicola was a sports enthusiast and the biggest San Francisco 49ers fan you will likely ever meet. She enjoyed cooking, travelling and taking long rides on her Harley Davidson motor cycle. She was a very proud and active member the American Bikers Aimed Towards Education…and will be dearly missed by that community.
Most of all, Nicola fiercely loved her family and friends alike. Nicola was a kind and beautiful soul. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
On Friday August 13, 2021 and Saturday August 14, 2021, we will celebrate the life of Nicola S. Bennett. We will meet in God’s Presence with the assurance that we will forever be with our Lord and Savior.
The Lord is my light and my salvation
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life
of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalms 27 Vs 1)
One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.
For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent
and set me high upon a rock. (Psalms 27 Vs 4-5)
