Waterford - Paul J. Hardy, 70 passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2019 at his home.

Born and raised in Troy, he was the son to the late Robert Hardy and Viola Church Hardy and was the loving husband Dianne Finn Hardy.

Paul graduated from Lansingburgh High School, class of 1967. Paul retired in 2011 after working many years in the printing field.

Paul enjoyed his coaching years at Independent Baseball League in Lansingburgh; volunteering at Waterford-Halfmoon School athletics for many years; and being with his family.

In addition to his wife Dianne, he is survived by his son Ryan Hardy, his daughter Carson Hardy, his brothers David Hardy, Donald (Lynne) Hardy, Thomas (Louise) Hardy, James (Denise) Hardy, John (Beth) Hardy, Joseph (Kim) Hardy and, his brothers-in-law William Donohue and Ronald (Maureen) Finn, also survived by many nieces, nephews and his faithful canine companion “Lucy.” Paul was predeceased by his sister Mary Donohue.

Family and friends are invited and may call on Friday July 19, 2019 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home. Funeral mass to follow at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, Waterford. Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford.
