Prophet "Joe" C. Foster passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at Van Rensselaer Manor.
Joe was born in Americus Ga. to the late Rutha Mae Clark-Foster and Sammie Lee Foster.
He is survived by his loving wife of many years Eloise Foster, one step son, countless amounts of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was predeceased by his two sisters, two brothers and one step daughter.
Joe was a proud member of the Fifth Avenue AME Zion Church where he was a member of the Trustee Board and Men's Choir. Outside of church Joe enjoyed fishing, listening to his gospels and saturday nights with his Jamos Club.
He worked for Ross Valve and Wheeler Brother's for many years.
Joe will always be remembered as a hardworking man who loved the Lord and his family, his smile would brighten anyone's day.
The family would like to thank Van Rensselaer Manor for their support over the past few years.
