Richard "Dick" Walker, Sr.

Richard “Dick” Walker Sr died peacefully on September 18, 2019 in Troy, NY at the age of 85.

Richard is survived by his sister Irlavere Tubbe of Pembroke Ontario and James “Wes” Walker of Southern Pines North Carolina. He was preceded in death by Meryl Walker of Hartland, NY and Marjorie Alice Priest of Union City Oklahoma. He is survived by his children Ann Rafferty of Titusville Fl, Richard Walker of South Charleston, OH, Nancy Smith of Ballston Spa NY, and Thomas Walker of Barker, NY. He was the grandfather six children and four great-grandchildren.

Dick was born on May 12, 1934 in Hartland, NY to Marjorie (Perry) and Raymond Walker. After living in Lockport NY and working as a vending machine mechanic for many years then he moved to Altamont Springs Florida in 1985.  While living in New York, he was a member of the Red Jackets Chapter of the Lockport Masons society and was an avid bowler in New York and Florida leagues. He enjoyed traveling on his motorcycle and was a lifelong member of the American Motorcycle Association.
