Robert Toles

On Thursday, July 26, 2018, our dear loved patriarch, Robert Toles went on to glory to be with the Lord. He was born on December 25, 1931 to the late Allen Toles and Minnie Bell Toles. He was the second of five siblings as follows: The late Verna Priester, Irene Dulaney, Hollis Toles, Tommy Pettiway and is survived by his fifth sibling Barbara Robertson.

He moved to Troy, New York from Ramer, Alabama in 1950’s and immediately began working in construction. He flourished and lived a full life. He loved fishing, traveling and serving his family in any way that he could. He was a friend to many and had quite a sense of humor.

The last two years of his life, he was attended to with love by his nieces, Maureen Robertson, Carol Ann Ryan and longtime friend, Toni Bargy.

Robert leaves to mourn his departure, one sister, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of family and friends.

Funeral will be held Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home located at 8 109th Street, Troy, NY. Calling hours will be 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy, NY.
