Rosaria Moss

Rosaria Ann (De Gennaro) Moss, 79, of Troy, NY; passed from this life on Friday, Janurary 30, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.

Rose was born, raised, and educated in Troy, NY, her parents were the late Sergio "Samuel" De Gennaro and Rose (La Grasta) De Gennaro. Rose was married to John "Jack" Moss on October 5, 1963.

Rose loved to cook for her family, work in her garden, and enjoyed her penny slots.

She was survived by her husband of 51 years; her son and daughter in law, Daniel and Jennifer Moss; her two granddaughters Cassandra and Heather Moss.

Her siblings were Lucy (De Gennaro) and Joe Rizzo, Ignatius (Lefty) and Betty De Genero, Carrado (Mino) and Jennie De Gennaro, Martha (De Gennaro) Kyme, Angelo (Ang) and Delores De Genero, Joseph and Judy De Gennaro, Anna De Gennaro, and Angeline De Gennaro. She is survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Rose has requested no funeral or wake services be performed in her honor, only wishing for her nephew Joe Rizzo to play at Mass. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, February 2nd at 11:30 AM at St. Michael's Church 175 Williams Road, Troy, NY.

In lieu of flowers we request any donations be made to the Samaritan Cancer Treatment Center Patient Fund who not only helped with moral support but also helped with the expense of co-pays, medical equipment, and procuring of the drugs that helped to give us the extra years with Rose.
