Ruth O'Donnell

Ruth Killimayer O'Donnell, 68 passed into the hands of the Lord, peacefully on January 23, 2018 at Albany Medical Center.

Ruth was born in Troy on September 29, 1949, daughter of the late John and Barbara (Hawley) Killimayer and beloved wife of Richard A. O’Donnell of Troy, on March 26, 1983, she married the love of her life, Richard.

Raised and educated in Troy, Ruth was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, class of 1967. She worked for 30 years in the graphic arts department of the New York Senate, retiring in 2009.

Survivors in addition to her husband Richard, include her sister Ann Killimayer of Vermont, her brother Jack Killimayer (Debbie) of Pittsburgh, her niece Christine Crouch (Cane), nephew David Killimayer both of Alabama. Richard and Ruth would like to thank all at Rosewood who loved and cared for Ruth.  She was a member of the Trinity Church, Lansingburgh.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh, with Rev. Dr. Desmond Francis, Rector officiating.

Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
