Sally Houle

Sally B. Houle, 78 passed away on Friday August 10, 2018 at Samaritan Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter to Everett Foster and Edna Mae Rawlins Foster and the loving wife to Rosario “Butch” Houle Jr, he died in 2007.

A lifelong area resident, she worked for Hoosic Valley Schools as a bus driver, she enjoyed camping, lighthouses, the New York Giants, but most of all she loved her family especially her grandchildren.

Sally is survived by her children Susan (David) DeLair of Iron Station, NC, Timothy (Dawn) Houle of Halfmoon, Jeffrey “Jumbo” (Laura) Houle of Petersburgh, Steven (Barbara) Houle of Hauchuca, AZ, Matthew (Edie) Houle of Galway and Keith (Dawn) of Schaghticoke, her grandchildren Michael (Melanie), Justin (Lindsey), Chad (Brianna), Josh (Mackenzie), Jeffrey Jr (Cassie), Laura Lee Jr (Devin), Ann Marie (Josh), Elizabeth (Chris), Christopher, Shawn, Felicia, Katherine, Harper, Noah, Ryley, Dayton, her great grandchildren Derek, Bryson, Camden, Amelia, Jeffrey III and Adalina,  her brother Everett (Janet) Foster of Fort Meyers, FL., her sister Betty (Roland) Foster Blanchet of Speigletown, also survived by many nieces and nephews and Chuck the faithful K-9 companion.

The family would like to thank Dr. Strumpf, Dr. Benton, and Dr. Roglieri, the staff at Samaritan Hospital and Community Hospice for their care and compassion giving to Sally.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 14, 2018, from 4pm to 7pm at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, 8 109th Street, Troy, NY 12182.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 15, 2018 at 10:00 am at funeral home. Burial will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery, Schaghticoke.
