Shirley Stulmaker-Hatkoff

 

Valatie-Shirley Stulmaker-Hatkoff, 81, passed away on December 20, 2022. Born in Albany, she was the daughter to the late Leon Kanter and Mae Deitch Kanter.

Shirley was a homemaker up until her children were grown, a teacher’s aide, a librarian for the Herkimer Public Library, a jewelry salesperson, and a sales manager at several banks. Shirley owned silk flower and antique toy businesses,

and was a lifelong artist who loved painting. She enjoyed working with children and deeply loved her family.

Shirley is survived by her children Alissa Hughes and her husband Dan of Delmar, Jeffrey Stulmaker and his wife Robin of Menands, and Kenneth “Stu” Stulmaker and her granddaughter Frankie Jean Stulmaker of Loudonville, her sister Rochelle Adams and her husband David of Lake George, and her husband George Hatkoff

of Florida. Family and friends are invited and may call from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday

December 30, 2022 at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Shirley may be made to
